We did the filming of our trailer in two blocks. First we filmed everything involving Sam (the boyfriend) outside and around school, and then the rest was filmed in a house - everything involving the older Zoe and Emma. When filming Sam and Emma outside/around school, we needed to make sure the light was just right, so we filmed it in the evening just before the sun went down. For this I was filming and Judith was directing. For the second block we had to dress Mrs Reeve in an old dressing gown and put talcum powder in her hair to try and make her look as old and drained as possible. For this again, I was filming and Judith was directing. After reviewing our work on the Mac, we decided that it would be best to re-film some bits and to add some more. So we went back to the house a couple of days later and re-filmed using better lighting. This proved more successful and we added it into our trailer.
